The first stop was at Wazobia FM where Kalu and Uche went on air to field questions from the listening public. Kalu shocked everyone by switching from his perfect, British-accented English into real pidgin English! Both he and Uche bantered with the on Air Personality in the house then moved on to Cool FM where they did same. From there it was off briefly to the hotel to drop bags, rest then off to the ‘Meet & Greet’ Event.
While there the stars were required to sell popcorn and tickets to fans (hilarious) chat with them and sign autographs and take pictures. This they did gladly to the eager crowd. We got a surprise visit from Nollywood actor, Nonso Diobi who breezed in to lend his support. This was my first time meeting Nonso and found him very lively and funny; certainly the ‘life of the party’ kind of guy! Guests were then ushered into the theatre where they watched the film, ‘Damage’ for the first time. At the end, it received a rousing hand of applause. From then on it was off to the Club for some After party dancing which was the perfect timing for me to make my ‘Great Escape’ to my hotel room! Lol! Over all, it was a good event.
